Competitive environments today are global and digital. This has led us to witness great progress in many areas but it is also true that everything is going faster and faster and I’m getting: everything is replicable or copy able at lightning speed. There are many entrepreneurs with great ideas who fear being “swept away” by large corporations when it detects that have managed to market a proposal viable value and some potential for profit.
So these entrepreneurs have some hope? You can copy absolutely everything?
There is only one thing you cannot copy for money to invest in it, and no other than human talent. Talent mark differences and creates competitive advantage. So, what it pays to generate.
Given the importance of human talent we can point the following to try to promote it:
1- Alleviating the “peaks” of collective stress: It is well known that stress kills everything. Creativity, moments of creativity and may even generate moments of tension between team members. Therefore, overload an environment with many commitments or highly repetitive tasks can lead to unproductive scenarios.
2- Build spaces that help reflection: Sometimes with small details is much get and it sounds very obvious, introducing whiteboards with markers, spaces to hang a post-it or organize a day of “brainstorming” helps create routines day productive and focused to continue innovating day.
3- Exerts leadership that “everyone” is important: In a production environment no black sheep, loose branches or missing links. All have their functions and these functions are important to get a good gear. Therefore decisions must be agreed not to create differences. Without realizing it, always someone is let down by the group and then when you have lost a “piece” of talent that could have been exploited.
4- The “why” is more than important: If you ever ask your team members time: Why are we doing this “and there is no clear answer do you have a problem? In every company you have to be a known value proposal, respected and motor serving in difficult situations:
5- Dominate routine productive plots: In every creative process or where it can shine the talent of people, there is a part of hard work and routine work. Mastering this part to not take up more room than necessary will be important for you not to eat space to what will really make a difference.
6- Do you know how to motivate? You know thrill? You know agglutinate views towards the same goal?: All this is to be measured is if you know a person of team enough genuine enough to earn the respect of your peers and help clear any doubts that arise along the way.
Finally, how can you measure whether we have done a good job building a productive environment? The truth is that it is simpler than it seems. Just the day away team will work exactly like that. If you are not missing it is that you created a balanced and productive environment at 100%.
