According to the estimated data that emerge from the new report developed by IPG Media Brands, the investment on online advertising on the Internet will experience a growth of 12.4 percent worldwide during this same year.
In the longer term, for the next five years, the data reflect forecasts that estimate this increase in an annual average of 11 percent, placing this increase in advertising spending up to 64% for 2015, reaching 83,000 million of dollars.
Thus, the forecasts for next year 2011 indicate a growth of 11.7% with respect to the data for the current year.
In terms of investment for different channels and media, search engine advertising will continue to grow (16.5%) and account for almost half of the total turnover that would reach 24,800 million dollars.
The rest of the channels, including Video, On-screen advertising, or E-mail, etc …) will experience growth at a slower pace (8.7%), reaching a total billing for their ads of 26,000 million dollars
By geographical areas, Latin America will continue to be the region that will experience the fastest growth, with a rise of 13.3% over the next five years, thus reaching 2,900 million dollars. China and Russia will also be the ones that experience the greatest gains.
The forecasts for the North America region forecast a significant increase of 12.3% of its advertising billing online during 2010, reaching 22,700 million dollars. Figure that for the year 2015 is estimated to reach 37,700 million.
